Quick take: on the expensive side but good
Best item: petite strawberry shortcake
We happened to walk by Urban Dessert Lab one afternoon and their sign saying oatmilk based ice cream caught our eyes. Can it be? An all vegan dessert spot? Of course we had to investigate, in the name of discovery.
Shoppe? Stoppe, say less.
Ordered this Smores cone ($8.25).
The ice cream wasn’t the creamy-ist out there, but it’s decent; however, the fudge, graham crackers, and vegan marshmallow makes up for it.
Ratings:
Hipster 1: 5/10, ice cream isn’t creamy enough
Hipster 2: 8/10, it definitely screams smore’s in cone format
We also got the petite strawberry shortcake ($8.00).
Yes, it is small for the price, but it is so good. Very very good. That by the way is the to go container, they take the time to dress it up and make it nice. So light and airy, with great flavor. Only downside is the petitiness of it, really wish there was more!
