Best item: oolong oat milk latte
There are Ding Tea shops scattered all around Southern California. When cruising around Van Nuys, we finally decided to stop and try it. We didn’t get too fancy and ordered large oolong latte slightly sweet with oat milk ($6.80 + $0.65 for oat milk 😡, on the left), and a large jasmine greet tea slightly sweet oat milk latte with red bean ($6.80 + $0.65 for oat milk + $0.85 for red bean, on the right). See, not fancy at all.
It’s fine. Not great, but not bad, overall solid. If there were other tea shops that we knew were better, we would pass on Ding Tea, but if there weren’t any others around, it will do.
Ratings:
Hipster 1 (oolong): 6/10 – sweetness is right, but its alright
Hipster 2 (jasmine): 5/10 – was still too sweet, probably because the red bean was sweet already
