Quick take: decent replicas, but does have weird flavors
One of the guilty pleasures that had to be left behind were mass produced candy bars. Well so we thought. These Go Max Go bars were ordered off amazon as a sampler pack for around $20. Sorry for the bad pictures, it was difficult splitting the bars without the chocolate collapsing.
Mahalo (Almond Joy). Pretty solid.
H1 – 8.0/10
H2 – 5/10, not a fan of coconut shreds, just a preference
Twilight (Milky Way). Decent, but it does have a weird flavor. Also the caramel is not as gooey as it probably needs to be. This picture is the worst.
H1 – 6.85/10
H2 – 7/10
Joker (Snickers). Has that weird taste, but otherwise ok.
H1 – 8.0/10
H2 – N/A due to peanut allergy
Buccaneer (Three Musketeers). Texture was nice and fluffy, but had that weird flavor that the others had.
H1 – 6.99/10
H2 – 8/10
Honestly the weird flavor does throw things off a bit, and makes the experience less enjoyable. That being said, if you can overlook the flavor issue, then these might be the answer to a vegan’s candy bar cravings.
