Quick take: would not return
Best item: potatoes?
We were looking for pizza in San Diego on a busy Valentine’s Day evening, and Zia’s was the only spot that could make our order in less than 1 hour. In retrospect, we should have waited. The service was nice, and they have a separate vegan menu, which we always appreciate. That being said, the pizza itself was not very good, but also not bad either. We got half Vegan View and half The Vegan. The best part for me (Hipster 2) were the little potato chunks. Otherwise the pizza is somewhat forgettable.
Ratings:
Hipster 1: 4/10 – it was lacking seasoning, just ok
Hipster 2: 5/10 – the potatoes add a point
