Quick take: really depends on the flavor
Best item: chocolate shell
North Park Creamery is not all vegan but has clearly labeled vegan options. I am not sure if the owner was the one who helped me, but he was friendly and pleasant.
We got the coconut ube (left, $5.95) and a chocolate vanilla twist dipped in vegan chocolate (right, $5.95+$1.00).
The highlight is definitely the chocolate dip. The chocolate and vanilla twist was tasty and pretty creamy; however, the ube had a metallic quality and was not that creamy. I do wish we would have tried the pineapple dole whip.
Ratings:
Hipster 1: 1/10 – had the ube, tasted really weird and off putting
Hipster 2: 5/10 – had the chocolate vanilla twist, not bad comes to mind
