Quick take: decent snack
Best item: carne asada fries
Sometimes you just want a snack, and the go to snack for us vegan hipsters is carne asada/nacho fries. So we needed a snack after getting into San Diego, and stopped by the vegan fast food place, Evolution Fast Foods. They are in a new location with their sister restaurant Donna Jean’s.
This is it, the only thing we ordered ($9.00). Its messy but pretty good, and decently priced, since you can’t seem to get anything under ten dollars these days. So yeah, we are going to base our ratings for the whole restaurant on one item.
Ratings:
Hipster 1: 6.9/10 – solid asada fries
Hipster 2: 7/10 – I would have it again when we are in town
