Quick take: it’s good!
Had to stop by Walmart to grab some supplies, and saw these plant-based chocolates from Bettergoods. I had never heard of this brand, so a quick search reveals that this is a new house line from Walmart and will include several plant-based offerings. Here we have the 55% dark oat chocolate ($2.47) and tart cherry pistachio ($2.47) flavors. There was a third; however, due to Hipster 2’s peanut allergies that one was left on the shelf.
The tart cherry pistachio bar has great flavor, and the tart cherries really come through, while the pistachios are sized small enough it doesn’t become intrusive. The dark chocolate bar was smooth and only slightly sweet. Both are very good, and the price is incredible! Definitely going back for more, and will try their other plant-based offerings too.
