Quick take: great price but strange texture
This is another entry into the vegan nuggets category, the bettergoods Plant-Based Chick’n Nuggets, sold exclusively (I believe) at Walmart. The very first thing that stands out is the price ($3.42!), which is the lowest for any vegan nuggets out there.
Of course we air fried them and there were about 16 pieces in the bag, which is pretty good.
Here is the texture inside.
Honestly, they aren’t the best but not the worst either. The coating was decent, but the texture on the inside was on the mushy side. That being all said, the price is unbeatable, and in a pinch they can be a good protein source. If price weren’t an issue, we would definitely get something else.
H1 – ?/10, can’t remember
H2 – 5/10, this might be a vegan struggle meal
